As most of you know I am an ambassador for @petbloodbank and proudly have been for over a year now. As an ambassador I try to raise awareness & funds for this wonderful charity- @petbloodbank was launched in 2007, & is the only charity in the UK that provides a canine blood bank service for all veterinary practitioners across the UK. As part of their charitable remit, @petbloodbank’s aim is to advance animal health and welfare and to relieve suffering by providing quick and convenient access to blood. Similar to the human blood service, dog owners kindly bring along their much loved canine companions to give blood at one of the many sessions across the country. The blood is then taken to their processing centre in Loughborough where it is separated into red blood cells and plasma products, and then stored ready for despatch. Like the human blood service @petbloodbank need donors & funds to survive. Опять я просчитался в прошлом посте по донорству. Там была 29 сдача,а сегодня юбилей! 30 раз я уже помог людям. Сегодня это была сдача для конкретного человека, у которого такой же фенотип, как и у меня. Позвонили с утра. Попросили приехать. Руководитель пошла на встречу и отпустила на пару часов. Гемоглобин у меня нормализовался. Да и в принципе, давно я цельную кровь не сдавал.
