Heeey- I’m Karissa! Seems like now is a good time for my first #fridayintroduction. I’ve been on this photography journey for about 8 years. Becoming a photographer was never something I dreamed of and if you asked me 10 years ago what I would be doing now, I can guarantee this would not be it. But here I am! I have a studio located in the Village of Wappingers that is mostly used for newborn and first birthday sessions. I really do love having my studio but outdoor family sessions are my jam! Some other random facts: . ☀️You would laugh if you saw how painfully awkward I was while having these pictures taken. Thank you @loveleephotography_ ! . ☀️ I shoot canon and my 35mm pretty much never leaves my camera. . ☀️I got married last September! (Can’t believe that was 8 months ago already!)♥️ . ☀️I’m THE WORST at small talk and I get social anxiety when I’m in groups of people I don’t know. It took my about 27 years to comfortably call and order a pizza. . ☀️I’m the youngest of four and the only girl in my family. . ☀️Outdoor dining in beautiful weather is my favorite thing to do!

Her sweet mama gave me this little umbrella many moons ago. I thought it was the perfect prop for her to have. This picture just melts me.
