I am truly in love with ancient sites. Places so old that nature begins to reclaim the land once more. Places like this make me feel like I’ve been here before, I know its memories, it’s past and wisdom from ancient wise ones who left this earth plane long ago; maybe I was one of them and I’ve come back? This temple complex was so magical to me. Here you walk bare foot on the corroded floor covered in moss and rain water. You are allowed to meditate inside the cave-like structures and take in the scent of the earth. Beautifully muddy feet and a heart singing with joy. I am in a sacred site so totally connected to the sublime energies of the earth. This is 30 day old horse shoe fermenting w jaggery in a covered barrel. When layered over earthy yellow harda (myrobalan fruit) it stains black in a process that is not only healthy and gorgeous but completely natural.

Wow has my life changed or what?!? . This morning, for the first time in the longest time, I was on the beach at sunrise! . AND . I was on the beach at sunset - after a wee swim! . Today was a work day for me. And I was the most productive I've been in AGES! . Thank you beach. Thank you Mother Nature! . Thank you old Kel who broke and decided to change the trajectory of her life. . Turn the clock back 4 years ago... . I'd get the kids ready to go to daycare as quickly as possible, hurry out the door, to a job I was feeling a bit 'meh' about, sit in a office all day (quite possible doing online shopping) and then hurry home to juggle dinner and kids, GAGGING for my husband to get home to have drink or 3 and vent about the day and slouch in front of the TV. . Then repeat. . I got to a point where I was like, IS THIS IT? Work. Shop. Work. Drink. Work. Short holiday. Repeat. For what? . A bunch of money I was spending as fast as I was making it? . A mortgage? . I was yelling at the kids so much. I cringe now. . ALWAYS feeling rushed and frustrated. .
