The shadows of the moon // This last week I have been exploring different materials and textures in both octane and cinema 4d. This moon was made with a greyscale displacement map that actually effects the sphere’s geometry, making for a very realistic render. I am loving 3d. There is so much to learn, and these weekly projects are allowing me to absorb as much as possible. I known I have always preached in the past about “staying as consistent as possible” on social media, but taking time between these posts is helping me out a ton. Hope you guys have an awesome day!!! Luminous // huge thank you to @corneliusdammrich for the astronaut model, its really cool to see all the parts and textures that went into it. Last week I started college! I’ve been meeting a ton of new people and actually learning things I want to learn. To be honest, it has been a bit overwhelming, but I assume all big changes are like that, so onward I will go. It has also been increasingly more difficult to work on my art, but as time goes on, and I learn to manage myself better, I’m sure I’ll get back into my grove.
