#ThisIsMyTruth . . I used to think I was fat and go on all kinds of crazy crash diets to lose weight. Being in pageants didn't help this at all...I would look in the mirror and see someone 2x my size and then the Holy Spirit whispered to me, "It's not a lack of exercise or your eating habits, it's a lack of LOVE". After giving birth...I felt this same pressure to “SnapBack”. 2 kids and a few stretch marks later I’m committed to giving myself grace as I lose the remaining pregnancy weight with ease and without pressure. How am I doing this? By continuing my healthy habits of eating whole foods, exercising and above all else LOVING myself flaws and all. What I want to get across is that everyBODY is beautiful. No joke, y’all. The yawn was even real and not planned for the picture, but worked out perfectly. I look like the left picture pretty often. This morning I had just woken up, got the baby fed and changed, changed my toddlers diaper, gotten the boys something to eat, and was about to drink my first glorious sip of coffee after I snapped this picture. ☕️ Then I got my together and got ready when the boys were napping this afternoon. It’s always one or the other and I’m so thankful my kiddos don’t care if I look like the hot mess momma on the left or the momma on the right.

No matter how many times you’ve been through this, it’s always a bittersweet day heading back to work after giving birth. I was so sad to leave my baby but grateful for an 8 year career in healthcare sales to go back to. And not going to lie, after being home all day every day with a terrorist, oops I mean toddler & newborn, work is a BREAK lol! In case no one told you today, your bum looks incredible, you’re beautiful, and you look STRONG. But actually, what would you do if I said that to your face? I tested it out the other day and genuinely complimented women on their bodies and the results were crazy! We have been made to see flaws over beauty. Why do we quickly point out what we believe is wrong with us? Why can we not accept a compliment? When did the world tell us the response to someone building us up is to tear ourselves down? You, my friend, are beautiful. Simply by existing, you light up the world. End of statement. When we can accept that, own that, and stand in that light, we invite others to do the same. 9 months pregnant vs 3 months postpartum The past year has taught me SO much about the wonderful capabilities of the human body ! . . I have not been on any diet but I am normally quite a healthy eater anyway apart from vegan ice cream on the weekend . In terms of exercise I’ve been doing bits of pole and floorwork when I can and yoga and walking ...I’m not exactly how I used to be yet ...my stomach is quite squishy but I don’t mind too much ‍♀️ . My little baby actually seems to be doing more exercise than me at the moment ...infact too much!.. as he is keeping me up at night rolling over and trying to crawl around in his bed .Its really surprising to us how active he is for just three months old !In some ways I regret doing all that bending when he was in the womb as now I’m sleep deprived . . So that’s a little update from me ❤️ I’ve not been so good at keeping up with my Instagram recently as I’ve been so busy being a mama but will start posting more ! Hey guys! These jeans fit great am I right? Haha! I figured I’d order up 2 sizes from the size I used to be and I’m guessing it’s gonna be a while longer before anything ever fits again. It’s 3 months exactly that I gave birth and I’m slowly getting back to myself. My worth is not dependent on a jean size. I’m just bummed these don’t fit because I want to wear them today! I’m also making it a point to share my journey and that includes disappointments like clothes that don’t fit like I thought they would in my brain!
