c | @aldric_a & @amcc.ae An amazing photoshoot of a paint to sample Gemini Metallic GT2 RS. Gemini Metallic (335/geminimetallic) is a Porsche color that goes back to the early 70s and a golden age of PTS colors. Offered for only a few years before it was discontinued, Gemini Metallic shared the menu with PTS giants such as Green Yellow, Gulf Blue, Jade Green, and Mexico Blue to name just a few. Interestingly, Gemini Metallic was actually used (non-PTS) on the limited 991 generation 911 Targa 4S 30th Anniversary Coupé in Italy. These 911s celebrated 30 years of Porsche in Italy and wear Gemini Metallic in honor of the color of the first 911 delivered there. This Weissach spec GT2 RS does Gemini Metallic proud with a fully custom two tone leather interior. While the full custom tailoring options list isn’t available, nearly the entire interior is the work of Porsche Exclusive. Leather starts at the dashboard and runs down to the door sills, only to be interrupted by either houndstooth material or carbon fiber. Leather wraps the AC vents, steering wheel, and even the shift knob with the “gate” also featuring Gemini Metallic stripes(!) Swipe through to see this in video! Taking these photos to the next level is the GT2 RS owner’s Gulfstream G650ER. Just as how the GT2 RS is no ordinary Porsche, the G650ER is no ordinary Gulfstream. It is one of the most capable civilian aircraft in the world, able to fly 7,500+ nm (13,800+ km) at up to 51,000 ft (15.5 km) in altitude at over 90% the speed of sound. Many fighter planes can’t cruise like this! Despite the immense luxury it offers, with features such as low cabin altitudes and panoramic windows, the G650ER, like the GT2 RS, is all about endurance performance. While Porsche proved the GT2 RS’s abilities with a 6:47.30 lap at the Nordschleife, Gulfstream set its own records, including a recent flight from New Jersey, USA to Dubai, UAE in just 11 hours and 2 minutes! c | @larst997 & @ja.carphotography An incredible spotting from two readers in Germany today: A GT2 RS in paint to sample Austin Yellow Metallic! Color identification comes courtesy of @ja.carphotography, who was able to speak with the owner of this GT2 RS and notes that it is the only GT2 RS in Austin Yellow Metallic that exists. A quick review of Porsche paint to sample documents confirms the recent addition of Austin Yellow Metallic (B67/austingelbmetallic). As some of you may know, Austin Yellow Metallic is a contemporary BMW color, dating back to the release of the BMW M4 in 2014. In real life, Austin Yellow Metallic is a stunning color. It exhibits a metallic golden yellow in a fashion that pictures don’t quite convey. It is incredibly vibrant with the uncanny ability to almost glow in certain lighting conditions. The hues it gives off range from a light and bright gold to a deep gold with green hues. Amazing to see this color make its way to a GT2 RS! @larst997, who also saw this GT2 RS, reports that it is very likely that Porsche Zentrum Karlsruhe delivered this beauty. He also shared some background on the location where this GT2 RS was seen. It was in attendance at the annual Porsche Festival in Dinslaken, Germany. It is a large event, held every year in Dinslaken, with something on the order of 2,000 Porsches in attendance(!)
