You’re doing yourself and the world a disservice if you don’t speak up and let yourself be heard. And this applies to any form of expression...art, music, writing, dance, a new business idea etc. I’ve even come to terms with it being a form of selfishness to let FEAR be the thing holding me back from expressing myself to the world. The world needs more of YOU. Someone out there needs YOU to overcome your fear so that YOU can be there for them. That’s how this works my friends! My inner compass keeps getting more and more refined, I feel laser focused on who I am, who I want to be, where I want to go and what I want to offer the world. And wanna know the crazy part? It all started with emotional pain, confusion and discontentment. Those soon became the things to “push up against” to move forward. Once I finally decided to start taking risks in expressing myself and pursuing things that were more aligned with my heart, it was as if life started to leave little “breadcrumbs” on which paths to take to find more fulfillment. They were/are always the uncomfortable ones...but simultaneously the most rewarding. So let this be a reminder to stop putting things off. Whatever that looks like for you. “Playing it safe” is not sustainable! I’d love to hear in the comments what you want to do but find yourself too afraid to start!
