The first time i quit BBG was in 2015, one year after my third babe.
The third time i quit BBG was in 2017, after being drained making myself go to the gym 6x/week.
I’ve started and stopped so many times- so W H Y is this time different? ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ I haven’t stopped.
16 weeks in, and I’m feeling stronger.
I know that i can’t be a good mom, wife, friend, volunteer, etc... if my cup is empty, i have nothing left to give.
Im thankful that i found a realistic program that’s maintainable through the chaos of life.
A throwback Thursday picture here! The first picture was when I started BBG almost 4 years ago I was not happy with the way I was living my life, but couldn’t commit to any change. That is until I found @kayla_itsines BBG program. Scrolling through all the progress photos really motivated me to start my fitness journey. Those that have been following me awhile know I have had many ups and downs throughout this journey. However, when I finally get myself out of whatever slump I’m in, BBG whips me back into shape. 12 weeks of consistent BBG program! (And a spray tan )I think this might be the first time I completed the full 12 weeks consecutively and I’m have no plans of stopping!
Guys- 24 minutes 3 days a week, at home, with minimal equipment. That’s like swapping out ONE Netflix episode, totally doable.
I’ve found that it’s hard for me to fill up other peoples cup, to pour into my kids all day every day, to volunteer at church, etc. if I’m on empty. Getting in my daily devotional + work out fills me up. *

I’M BACK! The cold that started last week really took me out and I haven’t done much besides lay on the couch and I haven’t worked out since last Monday. But I finally feel up to attempting a workout, so I’m going to do the week 9 circuit training workout. I’m planning to take it super slow and take lots of breaks. Wish me luck!

Caity, don’t be too harsh to yourself when you skip gym! I thank myself for having a healthier mindset ever since I’ve finished school.

HOW MUCH STRENGTH? Lots of questions on this lately and the answer is it depends on where you are in training, your goals and how intensely you’re lifting.

One pan roasted veggies and sweet potato bites with stovetop ground turkey burgers! •
{Click the save button for this super easy meal prep recipe!} •
Y’all should know by now that simplicity is key for me and this recipe is perfect for the everyday busy schedule.
You can roast the sides on one pan in the oven and cook the ground turkey burgers on the stove with ease.

Recipe:
Ground Turkey
Grape Tomatoes
Avocado
Zucchini
Squash
Brussel Sprouts
Sweet Potato Fries
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Preheat Oven 400
Spray pan with cooking spray
Cut up veggies and sweet potatoes and place on pan
Drizzle olive oil, salt, and pepper
Roast for 45 minutes
Stovetop:
Turn burner on medium heat
Place pan on burner and spray pan
Mold ground turkey into burger shape
Press down on burger with spatula every few minutes to help them cook through and keep their shape
Cook burger until no longer pink inside
Throw it all on your plate and enjoy!
2018 was really fun! 3rd year of being vegan, yay! I met a lot of people, and at the same time I removed people out of my life ☺️ graduated, got a job, freelance stuff, black out after drinking too much alcohol from strangers lol, cried, too much anger, got my tooth extracted (ouch! ), and etc.! I aim to travel more this coming 2019!!! I will work harder hehe
