Farm Life is in FULL swing & we’re rolling out some BIG changes for our sweet little flower farm this season. 5 years ago our farms humble beginnings were rooted in growing healthy fruit & veg. When I moved into the farm full-time with Chris he built me 13 small flower beds and it was deemed my own little piece of the farm to experiment with. Fast forward four years later and our flower production has increased significantly. Islanders LOVE local flowers & we can’t seem to grow enough! So, over the past few years we’ve worked hard () in transitioning most of our fields into flower crops. We’ve expanded our offerings to weddings, special events, and even a Bouquet Subscription. We’ve held onto our favourite produce items, salad mix, garlic, strawberries & our whole property is covered in fruit/nut trees. Life has presented us with a new path. Although we feel attached to the old one and the lingering fear of failure is scary, we’re embracing this new change with open arms & hope in our hearts. ...
