昨日の５月３０日は『ごみゼロ』の日
世界的な問題となっている海洋プラスチックごみの削減を目刺し、５月３０日（ごみゼロの日）～6月8日（世界海洋デー）前後までを 海ごみゼロウィークと定め、海岸清掃やプラスチックごみ削減の取り組みを呼びかけています。
初日の30日は、原田環境相やふじさわ観光大使のつるの剛士さん、海保職員等含めおよそ430人が参加し、江ノ島の海岸でビーチクリーニングを行いました。
都内や神奈川近郊から川を流れ、江ノ島にごみが流れ着く量は１年間で鎌倉大仏およそ４２体分ほど！
腐らないのプラスチックはいつまでも自然界に残り、やがてマイクロプラスチックとなり、魚がそれらを食べてしまいます。そしてその胃の中のごみを人間が食べることに…。 海ごみの８割は街からやって来ます。２０５０年には魚の量よりも海の中のごみが多くなると言われている現在。
一人一人のちょっとした意識で変わります。
ごみは所定のゴミ箱にきちんと捨てるか、持ち帰りましょう。
