REAL TALK @ZESTLIFEWEAR Some more wins! I think I finally have the push/pull movement down. It seems to have just clicked suddenly and I do it without even thinking about it, instead of actively making sure I'm doing it Let's talk about other night. I am trying to be honest about my journey and the reality of being a fat person trying to pole dance. Tonight just fucking sucked. Tonight I had one of those nights where I just wanted to walk out. I was fighting back tears on the way home and I did get angry at myself and my body. I KNOW that as a fat girl I will have to work harder and take longer to master moves. It's reality and most of the time I'm okay with it - but not tonight. Tonight I was just in a bad mood and hating on myself for not being smaller, for not being able to just "diet" and lose weight. I was putting myself down - How stupid was I to even consider being an instructor? That would never happen. I can hardly do anything in the class. Tonight was a low and I know I'll have many more nights like tonight. I've just got to remember to breathe through them and be gentle to myself. IT FINALLY FUCKING HAPPENED. Forward into reverse diamond without touching the floor. This has been so damn hard for me to nail for some reason, BUT IT IS DONE So damn excited.
