Uma dama fora dos padrões: se tem uma coisa que a Júlia Quinn sabe fazer é um romance de época que dá um novo sentido ao clichê. Aqui vemos duas pessoas que se detestam se apaixonando. A Júlia da tanta profundidade e personalidade para o casal que é praticamente impossível não morrer de amores, fora as autodescobertas que os personagens fazem.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3. O acordo: confesso que na maioria das vezes ver o cara popular que larga a vida regrada a sexo e bebida me irrita, mas aqui tudo muda porque a protagonista é incrível. Ela brilha a história todinha e seria impossível ele não se apaixonar. Eu me apaixonei!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 4. Lick: com o hype de livros eróticos, teve muitos livros que trouxeram o cara famoso que se apaixonava pela plebeia. Lick mostra isso de um jeito diferente. Temos uma moça que decide passar seu aniversário de 21 anos em Las Vegas e acorda no outro dia casada com uma estrela do rock. Me impressionei com o quanto as cenas são divertidas e a simplicidade do mocinho. Foi uma das leituras mais divertidas de 2017.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 5. A voz do arqueiro: e por fim temos o clichê do recomeço. Aquele que o protagonista tem um trauma e resolve se mudar. O livro tinha tudo para ser só mais um. No entanto ele é tão carregado de sentimentos e lições que jamais o classificaria dessa forma. Chorei e fiquei orgulhosa do crescimento dos personagens. Sem dúvida um dos livros mais lindos que já li.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Então é isso gente, deixe nos comentários os livros clichês que vocês gostam. Representation is so very important, and it's amazing to see more and more books dealing with mental health issues! One of the best ones I've read is 'Some Kind of Happiness' by Claire Legrand. Guys, I finally did it! I talked about it for weeks (after thinking about for months), and yesterday I finally build up the energy to organise my bookshelves! Ain’t gonna lie, it was a struggle. It took almost 7 hours in total, but gosh I love it so much more! - if you swipe, you can see how my bookshelves used to look, and that was a huge mess. It just messed with my brain so much, because it was too crowded and all over the place, and it didn’t motivated me to read at all, it actually did the exact opposite. After I shared my process on my story yesterday, I’ve received so many DMs with questions about how I’m gonna be able to find the books I wanna read. Well, I organised all my books alphabetically from the authors’ first names, and made tiny post-its on every shelf with the different letters. So I hope I can manage to find the books I’m looking for I also received a couple of DMs from people who weren’t pleased with how I chose to display my books, I don’t really know how to respond to that, other than it’s my choice and it’s me who have to look at it every day. I know shouldn’t care about other people’s opinions, but it’s something that I wanted to do for so long and I spent HOURS doing it, and it’s something that I know is going to help keep my mind calm and I’m happy that I did it - so why does it bother me what people think? Idk, maybe I was just really tired after spending all that time and energy.
