These are known as sebaceous hyperplasia. They are an overgrowth of the oil glands (sebaceous glands). Typical a sebaceous hyperplasia looks like a donut or cauliflower, and can come in a range of sizes. They don’t hurt, itch or flare up. If anything they are just a cosmetic nuisance for most . This amazing client has been coming in regularly for facials with me since 2001. Over the years, this glandular disorder has produced over 30 in her skin in numerous sizes. She has been begging me for over 18 years to rid them for her. The day has finally come and I have never seen her so excited for an appointment before. Not only were we able to begin one of several treatments we will do, we were able to treat the Seborrheic keratosis under her right eye and remove some skin tags that have formed over the past years.
