Day 3 - New Orleans and more driving. . New Orleans was amazing and the beignets we're on point . We played at the Louisiana Children's Museum and it was way more fun than we expected. We rode the trolley around town and watched the Mississippi River do it's thing. What a gorgeous city. . Once we arrived back at the bus we loaded up and started driving again. The kids all napped and I (Lindsay) drove out of NOLA and through Baton Rouge. I10 was scary at times. Road work left zero shoulder room, concrete barricades to the right and speeding semis to the left. I'm happy to report I am a great driver and all was good . After a while we switched and Eric took over and got us to the other side of Houston where we parked for the night. . New day means new place! Today we will visit Austin. If you have any suggestions on where to park a bus or places we need to visit while there please let us know! . Super convenient having your home with you when you travel. We can make meals, use the potty, watch movies, and nap! . . Update!!! We are skipping Austin. Fresh air, a hot spring, and beautiful trails are calling our name in Big Bend National Park. So stoked to share or journey with you guys! The bussalo will officially have a baby on board come December 3rd (or at least we hope baby friend won’t wait to make its appearance after the due date)! With that being said, we hope to be spending more and more time working on the bus this summer to get it ready for our little growing family!

Everest has seen a lot of places, from outside the bus & inside, along the coast and above the clouds. When I sleep my dreams have a changed dramatically...when he sleeps, his dreaming has become much more intense..to the point I can hardly sleep with him since he starts running in bed. But I wonder where he’s running, if it’s in the snow, if it’s above the clouds..if it’s on a beach, which one is it. One of the whole ideas of living in a bus is to #optoutside more... so it’s important we have a comfortable outdoor space that we enjoy being in. We plan to have a little seating area under our shade tent and maybe a kiddie pool for Harrison. ‍♀️ Any other suggestions you think we’ll enjoy having outside the bus?
