Catch the blossom under the California sun.

I feel very fortunate in regards to the weather we received during our time in the Alabama Hills. While we only got to spend a day there (which was definitely not enough time), the weather would be moody and cloudy one minute, clear and sunny the next, extreme color during sunrise and sunset, and crystal clear skies at night to see the stars. For a spur of the moment photographer hoping to capture as much of this unique and beautiful location as I could, I couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Sunset over Mt. Whitney, pictured above, was a show I’ll remember for a long time. To me, the vibrant colors and thick cloud cover make it look almost like a fire with dark smoke billowing from the peak and pillars. Does it look that way to anybody else? • Fun Fact: California contains the two most extreme locations in the lower 48 states regarding elevation, and the locations are only 76 miles apart. While Mt. McWay Falls, Big Sur To jeden z najpiękniejszych widoków, które widziałam w Kalifornii. Przepiękna zatoka z turkusową wodą, a pośród skał jeden, mały wodospad. Tak niewiele potrzeba, żeby nacieszyć oczy . Podróżując, uwielbiam delektować się widokami takimi jak ten. Mogłabym podziwiać je godzinami. Dlatego też, jestem zwolenniczką #slowtravel, a nie szybkiego podróżowania i zaliczania miejsc po to, żeby odhaczyć je z bucketlist. Już kiedyś wspominałam o tym na stories, ale poruszam temat raz jeszcze. . Nie rozumiem osób, które chwalą się na swoich profilach ile krajów odwiedziły i przechwalania się jak to dobrze nie znają jakiegoś miejsca. Mimo tego, że mieszkałam w Polsce 20 lat to nigdy nie powiedziałabym, że byłam tam WSZĘDZIE. To po prostu niemożliwe. Nie jestem wszechwiedzącym podróżnikiem, który wie wszystko i był wszędzie. Nie popadajmy w samozachwyt i uwielbienie. . Mam wrażenie, że aktualnie liczą się tylko liczby. Ilość odwiedzonych miejsc, followersów na instagramie, likeów i komentarzy. Ludzie podążają za podróżniczą modą i niektórzy z nich zatracili prawdziwy sens podróżowania.
