#curiouspastimes is a professional live action roleplaying #larp company in the UK. Since 1996 they have been running a weekend, where hundreds of role players dress up, solve plot, cast magic and fight. As a kid I spent many weekends doing this on a smaller scale with my mates, many of whome I am still friends with 30 years later.
