Lol it legit feel like summertime today I just had a #flashbackfriday to last summer which was my FIRST whole official summer in Dallas. You can’t always see the sunshine, but you can create your own sunshine & happiness amidst any situation. • One of my favorite ways to create sunshine is complimenting strangers. My @starbucks barista was a beautiful woman with so many gorgeous freckles on her face. I could have just said you’re pretty but I wanted it to be memorable & really make her feel good, so instead, I said, “your freckles are gorgeous.” • Her eyes & face lit up. I created sunshine for myself because I love the feeling of making others smile & I created sunshine for her by making her smile. Hopefully, she went on to create the sunshine for someone else. • So I challenge you to go out & create your own sunshine. Having a bad day? Turn it around.
