I've learned so much about myself and my #eczema this past week that it's hard to contain myself . . . I've been going through an uncomfortable flare that I thought was due to all of the traveling, outside eating, and drinking alcohol I was engaging in. After doing some deep inner work on myself, I realized I was incorrect. Of course the traveling, eating, and alcohol may have played a PART in the flare-up, but it definitely was not the CAUSE of it. The cause was something deeper. . . . I came to an awareness that I was holding in resentment towards myself and someone very close to me. This was causing me distress and frustration at the most minute level. But I only knew this AFTER journaling and writing a letter to my eczema. Then I cried about it... a lot. I gave myself permission to just FEEL the emotions that were present so that I could let them go with flow and ease. And let me tell you! AS SOON as I did that, there was a shift in my body. My skin began flaking (sign of healing), little to no itchiness, discoloration began leaving and my original skin color began re-appearing. . . . I AM HEALING. I always was. AND through this awareness, I catapulted its process. I was able to terminate the Source of my flare at the deepest level to create SUSTAINABLE healing, not just temporary relief. So I invite you to check with yourself today. Is there an emotion you're bottling up? That's causing you to feel some type of tension. That’s the true Source of your dis-ease or illness. Feel it. i know this may be too graphic for some but this is the reality of eczema for some people. noone seems to understand the mental. emotional and physical complications and effects of having a skin disease and its not given the same recognition as other diseases either. this is despite the fact that the people that suffer with it are restricted to being unable to doing basic things like showering. sleeping or even going to work or school.... the suicide rate amongst eczema patients is ridiculously high aswell which just goes to show how hopeless people can feel when they're constantly fobbed off with drugs that dnt help. this lady contacted me a month ago..and immediately she made the changes in diet and lifestyle that i recommended to her. look at the difference. honestly there are so many stories i could share cause i get these all the time but the reality is it works. the eating protocol may vary slightly but the basis is always the same. eat whole. eat plants. eat real food.

would you believe me if i said the time inbetween these pictures is a few days? in the first pic...my legs were swollen and full of oozing liquid. in the second picture it had gotten more swollen but where it was yellow is where the oozing had crusted over and turned into black flakes. the flakes shed profusely and oozed over the course of a few days and when it was over it left behind a whole new skin. [last two pics] again im posting this because so many of you message me describing crazy things happening to your skin that were very similar to what i went through and i want you to know its all part of the process... my ultimate goal is to become the @huda @nabela or @mypaleskinblog for the people out there that suffer with skin disease. it's such a soul destroying process... especially when people think 'its just dry skin....just moisturise" when in reality eczema is the body's way of telling you it is extremely sick. for years we've seen what the power of make up can do to change lives and it's amazing. but my goal is to help people with eczema other skin diseases to heal and be comfortable in their own skin.

Hi! Many of you know, and many of you may not, but I have always struggled with severe eczema. Like head to toe, at any one moment I can tell you 20 places where I am crazy itchy. It’s my number one thing I am most self-conscious about, especially my face. Before now I was only ever given steroids to use for my constant flare ups, but recently I was prescribed #dupixent ! It’s a shot I give myself every other week and it has to sit out for 45 minutes bc the solution is so thick. (Hence why it takes so damn long to inject it! I promise I’m going as fast as I can!)And let me tell you the solution going into my body HURTS!!! (The actual poking I can handle) I started the end of June and am hopeful I’ll notice a difference soon! ✨ Warriors my skin isn’t perfect but to me ir sure feels close enough like it those who have been w me through this journey know my skin is completely different from what I was suffering the last couple of years. YES! I’m still on #dupixent slowly tapering off now that my skin is doing a lot better. Staying away from direct chocolates and alcohol have been life changing.
