Projects, plans and positivity... for the most part anyway . . We don’t usually plan in advance except for an idea of where we’d like to go in a country or what we want to see... but for Aus as it’s so huge and doesn’t have the preferred price tags of Asia, we had a sort of plan of the route we’d do before we hopefully find jobs, starting with an east coast trip up towards Cairns. But at the most north Queensland is experiencing tropical storms so we’ve changed our route up a little and let’s face it we’ll probably end up winging it as usual. . . Do you like the plan or are you more “go with the flow” like us?

How’s everyone’s Easter ? Where are you spending it ? We took some time from out from unpacking waaaay too many boxes to check out the new hood this evening. We have only been here four days, but so far we are loving the vibe. All our neighbours have been over to say hi and asked if we need help with anything ! And a huge Pacific Islander family turned up to their grandmas house across the road, all stopping to chat to Henny and give him a fist bump We also went on an egg hunt with the #ettalong and #bookerbay mums, enjoying a sneaky wine while the kids played on the beach. Oh and while I was in #Kmart buying the boys t-shirts, because I can NOT find their clothes anywhere a complete stranger helped me carry my impulse buys to the counter because they didn’t fit on the pram ! (That’s never happened in Sydney) . On the negative side so far I have not found a trolly with a double seat anywhere ! And that makes life hard. And @aldiaustralia doesn’t have a wine section. that also makes life hard ! What’s everyone up to ?
