Today is the day officially labelled “Earth Day.” Not sure about you, but in our hearts, Earth Day is every day! How could it not be? This planet which sustains us and gives us life deserves our honour, care, and concern every single day that we’re here living on it, living WITH it. ⠀ ⠀ That being said, we’re all about raising Earthly awareness and taking some time to step back, examine intentions, and take action. Today is a great day to do just that, and this week there are all kinds of community opportunities to give the Earth some extra TLC. ⠀ ⠀ On Friday, spend spend some time cleaning up your school or workplace. We departed Dallas for Yosemite National Park with everything in tow for a few days of tent camping . We made camp in Wawona Campground, hiked to Taft Point, rented bicycles in the valley, sipped cocktails at the Ahwahnee Hotel, made a campfire every night and didn’t shower for three days...we had a blast!!!... . This experience was the catalyst for life on the road . In case you’re wondering, we finally took a bath in a river fed by snowmelt, polar bear style . @scenicrouteshikingboots . . .

So far, so good! Enjoying our nice spendy couple days in Pittsburgh. We decided to take the kids out of town to do fun stuff as a holiday gift rather than buying them junk they don’t need. Today we had brunch at @b52_pgh and toured @phippsconservatory . Tonight we’ll have @onionmaidenpgh for dinner. Tomorrow we’ll go to @carnegiescictr and hit up the LEGO exhibit, then get some pizza at @spakbrothers . Notice a theme? #veganfoodtourism . Anyway, we saved $14 a week in a Christmas club account and had over $700 for our first #debtfreechristmas !
