飛行機で隣になったのがきっかけで知り合った @tmichael_bergen さんが、東京でも彼のショップ @norwegianrain_tmichael_tokyo @norwegianrain の をオープンしたので遊びに行ってきました✨ 飛行機が隣の時からオーラやファッションセンスが周りの人と違って、でも気さくでこんな私とも仲良くしてくれる彼。ガーナからロンドンへ、そしてノルウェーに拠点を置き、日本でも活躍されていて、デザイナーとしてももちろん、自分のブランドを世界に広める中で、色々な壁があったのかを聞いたところ、「沢山あったが、それが”問題“だと思ったことは一度も無い。全ては自分の事をより深く知るチャンスを与えてくれたから。」私が着ているレインコート(スワイプ▶︎)の始まりも、ノルウェーに引っ越した時に、雨が嫌だと嘆くのでは無く、最適なレインコートを作ろうと思い出来たものとのこと。「ネガティブなことを、ポジティブに変える。人生はそういうことなんだ。」と語ってくれました。彼のショップの中は、細かい全ての部分にそれぞれのストーリーや驚きがある、ただのショップとは違う空間を楽しむことが出来ますし、この投稿では明かしていない秘密も沢山あります✨。私の素敵な友達のお店に、皆さん行ってみてください✨ --- --- @tmichael_bergen and I sat next to me on the plane, and that’s how we met. He opened a new shop in Tokyo for his brand and @norwegianrain_tmichael_tokyo @norwegianrain ! From Ghana to London, then Norway to Tokyo, he keeps inspiring the world! I asked if he had many obstacles to spread his designs and brands, he said “There were challenges but I never thought of them as problems. They gave me opportunities to know myself deeper every time.” Everything in the shop had interesting stories, even the signature raincoat I’m wearing(SWIPE for more pics▶︎). When he first moved to Norway, he realized it rains a lot there- and instead of being gloomy about it, he made this amazing functional+fashionable raincoat. He said, “Turning the negatives into positive. That’s life is about.” I’ve learned so much about life from him, I’m glad to have met him on the plane!
