Coke is a popular drink, for most people, it's agreed upon, we should avoid it because of the high sugar content and generally isn’t the best choice when the goal is to lose weight.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Next to it, we have the sugar free version - Coke zero - which is crucified because it is supposedly causing obesity (impossible) and cancers due to the sugar replacement aspartame (also proven incorrect in humans)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Further, Calories from fluids don't have much effect on keeping you full. So when comparing regular soft drinks to that of sugar-free, it's a no brainer to consume the sugar-free whilst on a fat loss diet to help you save your calories for whole foods.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ When your goal is fat loss, the fewer calories consume the faster you will lose weight. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Should you have room for a high-calorie soft drink, go for it, provided you follow a generally healthy well-balanced diet.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If you enjoy a soft drink but don't want to the added calories, opt for the sugar-free of that soft drink. (I promise you won't die) ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Then you have water. Water is a good choice, drink more water. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Tag a friend who loves their fizzy bubbleh⁣⁣ ⁣ Follow @shannonbillowsfitness for daily weight loss help.

BUILDING MUSCLE By @starathletes_. . . If you stimulate a muscle enough that it needs to adapt to make itself stronger, you’re going to add muscle mass and, of course, get stronger . . I’ve spoken about delayed onset muscular soreness before and mentioned that your muscles undergo a certain level of micro trauma if they are stressed sufficiently (This can be seen in the middle picture)- The body then rebuilds the muscle to be bigger and stronger (As seen in the bottom picture) - This process is often the cause of the soreness you experience post workout . This won’t make your muscles huge overnight though. It takes years of constant stimulation to truly see major size and strength differences if you’ve been already working out. If you’re new to the gym, you’ll probably see faster gains . . Important thing is to always be consistent, be patient and to always push your body to be better and stronger (Make sure you do it safely and with great form on all exercises) . . I hope you all have a great day! . . #vegetables #healthychoice #healthyeating #foodfitness #foodfreedom #balancedmeals #dietingtips #flexibledieting #diethacks #trackingmacros #dietstartsnow #countingcalories #caloriecontrol #caloriedeficit #8020rule #healthy2019 #nutritionfacts #dailynutrition #nutritiontips #nutritionadvice #fitnessnutrition #nutritional #nutritionaltips #nutritionalfacts #nutritiontip #weightlosss #weightlossjourney2019 #fatlossjourney #fatlosstips #buildmuscle

WHICH WORKOUT TIME - Created and Credit: @kruckifitness - DO YOU PREFER MORNING OR EVENING!? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW - First off, before we get into this, I want to make it clear that one is not better than the other, it all comes down to personal preference and your schedule. Do whichever works best for your lifestyle. - Now, we'll simply look at the benefits of each one. - For MORNING WORKOUTS, if you crank out a gym session in the morning, you'll be more energized for the rest of the day, you'll sleep better at night, you'll boost your metabolism, and at night, you'll have some more leisure time. - For EVENING/NIGHT WORKOUTS, since it's later in the day, you'll most likely have more energy while working out, it can be a great stress reliever if you have a tough day, you'll probably be able to lift more since you've consumed more meals a have more energy, and also you won't have to be in a hurry to get to the gym in the morning. - To decide which works best for you, simply decide which benefits seem better in your eyes. If you want more free time at night, do morning workouts! If you don't want to rush to the gym first thing in the morning, do later workouts! IT ALL COMES DOWN TO PERSONAL PREFERENCE! ONE IS NOT BETTER THAN THE OTHER! - If you have any more questions on this topic please make sure to either message me @upnorthathletics or check out @kruckifitness page!

The True Reality to Achieving Your Dream Body - TAG A FRIEND WHO IS JUST STARTING OUT IN THE GYM ———————— ✅Follow @the.perfectdiet for certified diet info! We help YOU reach your fitness goals with proven content on dieting and nutrition ‼️You can ask us ANYTHING ———————— REPOST: @smurray_32 - - - - - - In follow up from yesterday’s post, I had a plethora of comments asking whether it was really true that being 6% BF comes will joining the “team no boner” club so let’s discuss. Now, although a lot of you were claiming to be (or have been) 6% BF without experiencing any negative impacts, the harsh reality is that, you likely are/were not 6% as people are terrible at guesstimating their BF% and/or are relying on the use of skin callipers which have shown to be highly inaccurate method of body composition analysis (Walia, 1992) ➖ So, although there may be certain individuals who do not experience a loss of libido with a very low BF%, it is still VERY common to see when diving down into extremely low levels of BF and this is mostly as a result of the sheer stress that being that lean places on the endocrine system (hormones) ➖ Correct, studies on those at extremely low BF% report decreases in leptin, insulin, testosterone, eostrogen & thyroid hormones with a subsequent increase in ghrelin & cortisol as (Rossow et al 2013, Maestu et al 2010, Hagmar et al 2013). As both test & oestrogen have shown to play key roles in both male & female reproductive & metabolic function (Bain 2007, Mills et al 1992, Alexander et al 2007), a decrease/lack of them naturally comes with an impaired reproductive & metabolic functioning and hence you join the “team no boner” club ➖ Also, the overall response to just being severely calorically deprived can impact reproductive functions as, in females especially, Folliculogenesis is stimulated by energy (Boland 2001), particularly glucose & chronic energy deficits can impact reproductive capacity via the suppression of Gonadotrophin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) secretion which can have downstream effects on FSH, LH & growth hormone. Gonadal physiology is also affected by varying leptin & ghrelin levels therefore an excess/lack of it c
