I love these keto waffles a lot. I hope you will too. INGREDIENTS: • 1/2 c @anthonysgoods almond flour • ¼ tsp salt • ¼ tsp baking soda • 1/4 tsp baking powder • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon • 1/8 tsp nutmeg • 1/2 tsp @lakantosweetener monk fruit sweetener • 2 eggs divided • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 2 tbsp melted butter INSTRUCTIONS: 1. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the dry ingredients in a bowl. Set aside. 2. Divide the eggs and place the yolks in one bowl and the whites into a medium sized bowl ( large enough to use a hand mixer to beat them in). Mix together the egg yolks, vanilla and butter and set aside. 3. Beat the egg whites until as light and fluffy as they can get. 4. Mix the egg yolks mixture into the dry ingredients. Then add in the eggs whites, slowly mixing them in until the mixture is fully combined. 5. Preheat your waffle iron and make 4 waffles. Serve with butter and a sugar free syrup. *80 calories per waffle. 4 net carbs. I’ve been trying to wean my sisters off of Whey Protein lately and get them on the RIGHTFUL bandwagon with Collagen. Healthiest oil? No, it's not coconut @iamvladimirx will help you up your cooking game today . There are 2 main points to consider when choosing your #oil - smoke point & fatty acid profile. Smoke point is the temperature at which the oil starts smoking, changes flavor and releases free radicals which are dangerous for your health. Fatty acid profile is about the ratio of healthy and unhealthy fats. . 1️⃣ #coconutoil has a very high smoke point, which is great. Fry, bake, or do anything with it and don't worry about free radicals. However this comes with a cost - it has the highest amount of saturated (unhealthy) #fats . Some researchers state that a certain amount of saturated fats isn't harmful, but if you aren't eating clean for the most part, better switch for an alternative oil. . 2️⃣ #oliveoil it's the opposite, has a nice fatty acid profile, but a low smoking point. So if you want to stir fry anything or put the oven on full power, better use something else. For salads, however it's probably the best choice. Just make sure you buy the extra virgin one, it means that the oil is not refined and overly processed. . 3️⃣ #sunflower oil is debatable. It's packed with #vitamin E, but it's also rich in Omega 6. Omega 6 can be pro inflammatory when it's not balanced with Omega 3. And most people's diet aren't rich in #omega3 Plus most sunflower oils are highly refined and cheaply made. . 4️⃣ #avocado oil in my opinion is the winner when it comes to the best cooking oil.
