Here’s some much needed Kayleigh appreciation!! I look up to her and her incredible talent so much. When I met her I asked her how long she had been playing violin and I think she said 27 years Something like that. Then I was like “no wonder you’re so good at it ” and it made me really happy that I got up the guts to compliment her. She also told me when she signed my fake succulent that the best way to keep plants alive is to buy fake ones. She’s so wise :) Oh and also if you didn’t see my story, I was lucky enough to catch her pick last night :’) She threw it right at me and suddenly my 11 years of playing softball paid off because I caught it!! She fucking SHREDDED IT on the Violin during Veins (especially in Austin) and her vocals were so beautiful when I could actually hear them. After the Austin show even though it was late she still talked to people up front and she gave me a high five which was super fucking cool. I think the most vivid moment in my mind from this whole trip is the power of that damn violin when the pit opened up in Austin during Veins god DAMN that was amazing. I keep talking about it, but it was so good OKAY. Another wonderful thing happened last night too which was that someone yelled out something about Kayleigh being beautiful and talented or something and then we all chanted her name and Tucker even gave us a beat to cheer to. Her reaction was so pure because she just kind of blushed awkwardly and smiled. I’m glad she got that love from the crowd because she deserved it so much! Anyway god/universe/whatever bless Kayleigh Goldsworthy for making Frank Iero’s music better than I could have ever imagined. It was such a pleasure to meet her and see her perform.

Apparently Onision uploaded (and deleted) a video in which he criticises Gerard for his weight so I thought this would be a good time to post this. I’ve actually seen fan accounts bash Gerard for how he looks right now. It’s sad and twisted as hell for so many reasons. In my opinion Gerard doesn’t even look bad now, I still think he’s handsome but that’s not the point. The thing is that, first of all, this is body shaming. If you comment on somebody’s weight without being asked to by that person, it’s plain rude. People suffer from that. Secondly, Gerard is so, so much more than his appearance. He’s an amazing musician and artist, he’s insanely inspiring to so many people including myself and I hate the fact that he’s been reduced to just a pretty face and that he’s now being bashed for his weight gain by jerks who are unwilling to look past his appearance. He’s a beautiful person, inside and out and if you don’t dig his looks, just ignore that, it can’t be that hard. Gerard deserves to be treated with respect, just like anyone else. This rant is becoming way too long and I don’t even know if I’m getting my point across but this stuff bOTHers me a lot so b nice uwu (edit: the video is back up apparently)
