Black Swan (2010) This is a film that I remember liking very much when I saw it in the theatre almost a decade ago, however, for whatever reason I don't actually think I've seen it since then. As time passes in situations like this, you often start to question whether the memory you have of the film is accurate or not - was it actually as good as you remember it to be - which ultimately leads you to dusting off that old DVD case and giving the film a long over-due watch. And so, after watching Black Swan last night, I can now confidently say that this is very much a remarkable film. I loved pretty much everything about it - the dark, twisted atmosphere juxtaposed with the beauty and serenity of the ballet, the visceral decay of Nina's mental-state (and body), the alternating handheld and wide shot cinematography of the ballet sequences, and, of course, the absolutely stellar performance by Natalie Portman. Portman, in particular, really blew me away. I originally saw the film prior to her winning the Oscar and so it was always in my mind that she was very good but now being able to go back to the performance many years later I can now see whole-heartedly why she deserved to win. Brilliant. Darren Aronofsky is one of the most talented director/writers working today. Although he is by no-means underground any more, he still continues to strive in pushing the boundaries of story-telling and narrative with his films, always with darkly psychological and visceral undertones (just see his most recent, Mother, if you don't believe me). He has many incredible films, but Black Swan (which he notably did not write) might be his most directional story-wise - the tension begins mounting from the first scene, and the story never really strays from Nina at any point. For anyone who enjoys dark psychological thrillers, ballet, and/or stunning performances, I highly recommend Black Swan.

No spoilers Just saw Avengers Endgame again (in less than 24 hours)but this time in @reald3d and it looked stunning. Enjoyed it almost as much as I did at midnight, the atmosphere of a midnight showing is completely different. 1.654. INFO FILM . Avengers: Endgame telah memberi kita banyak sekali kejutan di filmnya. Mulai dari lompatan waktu hingga kematian karakter kesayangan. Привет, друзья! Сегодня расскажу о своих впечатлениях от нового фильма киновселенной Marvel - «Мстители: Финал»! Действия картины начинаются спустя пару недель после событий «Войны Бесконечности». Оставшиеся в живых супергерои подавлены. Танос ускользнул, половина населения галактики испарилась из-за «щелчка» - в общем, не очень хороший расклад событий. «Мстители» в неведении, не знают, как дальше быть. Но, как минимум, ясно одно - сдаваться нельзя. Поэтому, собирая последние силы в кулак, Тони Старк, Стив Роджерс, Тор, Халк, Чёрная Вдова, Капитан Марвел и Соколиный Глаз подготавливают финальный план по свержению безумного титана Таноса. На этот раз, у них нет права на ошибку… Сразу вас предупрежу, что моя точка зрения не является на все сто трезвой и объективной, ведь я являюсь огромным фанатом данной киновселенной. Также сообщаю, что обзор НЕ содержит спойлеров, можете читать спокойно. Итак, я впервые за год так наслаждался фильмом. А ещё с радостью признаю четвёртую часть «Мстителей» одним из самых лучших фильмов Marvel. Но почему я так думаю? Давайте обо всём поподробней… Начну с громадного актёрского состава. В фильме снялись такие известные персоны, как Роберт Дауни мл. (Железный Человек), Крис Эванс (Капитан Америка), Марк Руффало (Халк), Крис Хемсворт (Тор), Скарлетт Йоханссон (Чёрная Вдова), Джереми Реннер (Соколиный Глаз, а нынче Ронин), Карен Гиллан (Небула), Бри Ларсон (Капитан Марвел), Дон Чидл (Воитель) и Пол Радд (Человек-Муравей). Всех их мы знаем по предыдущим лентам данной саги, поэтому думаю, никто из актёров не нуждается в представлении, ведь все они легенды, которые уже давно в КВМ. Но, пожалуй, особого внимания заслуживают «первооткрыватели» эпохи супергероев, которые выделились своей невероятной харизмой - это Дауни, Эванс и Хемсворт. На этой троице когда-то были построены первые фазы вселенной. И вот, уходит их пора. Актёры распрощались со своими ролями и, возможно, больше не появятся в сюжете последующих фаз (но, с другой стороны, никто не запрещал маленькие камео).
