Today my angel is ONE! This year has been the hardest year of my life. Yet I could not be more obsessed with this little girl. Last night I cried as I rocked her, thinking about the first moment she was laid on my chest and all of our special moments in between. I’m so grateful we were blessed with this beautiful, healthy baby girl. Mommy loves you! . . Now onto this incredibly sweet photo... I wanted to do a cake smash shoot in advance of her birthday party so I got lots of picture perfect photos. I never want to forget how adorable she looked on her first birthday. Plus now I can be fully present on the day of her party with my phone and camera put away. When I told my husband my idea for this photo shoot he literally looked at me in disbelief and just laughed There might have been an eye roll... mostly because I needed his help to carry all of this stuff out to the field + the baby. Ritam turned 1 on 31st March. I still cant wrap my head around the fact that its already been a year already Time flies.. I was so busy collecting memories that I didn’t realize when an entire year went by. This was a year of firsts for me and learning so many things in the process....There are so many memories...Becoming a mother for the first time..the first time he smiled...his first hug...the day he said his first words ( even though it was papa) to his first crawl. Everythng was so magical. . . . There were some bad days as well...From his first time vaccination ( in which we both cried) to his first tooth( he wasnt well for a week) to his first cough and cold to fever ( he couldnt sleep for days because of his blocked nose ) to those sleepless nights. In hindsight all of it seems worth it when u see the love in ur kids eyes. . . Hope i can make u strong so that u can face all the hurdles in life successfully. I hope that i can teach u the right things in life so that you can be man of substance and try to fill your life with as much happiness in the coming years. . .
