Did you know that most shampoo is a chemical mixture of many toxic ingredients? These chemicals are very harmful to you and to the environment.
_
Even shampoos claiming they have “all-natural ingredients” aren’t safe and dangerous. Manufacturers of these still use ammonium laurel sulphate. Doesn’t sound all-natural, right? My rule is, if you can’t eat it, then you shouldn’t put it on your body.
_
Here are the main toxic ingredient you’ll want to avoid in shampoo......
_
Sulfates – Sodium lauryl and laureth sulfates are foaming agents and can be contaminated with 1,4 dioxane, a probable carcinogen.
_
Certain preservatives – These preservatives including parabens are linked to breast cancer and hormone disruption.
_
Parabens have been discovered in low concentrations in breast cancer tumors and have the ability to weakly mimic estrogen.
_
Artificial fragrances – The term fragrance is a term for thousands of chemicals that include hormone disrupting phthalates, as well as skin irritants and allergens.
_
Petroleum products – Ingredients that come from non-renewable resources are not environmentally friendly.
_
Since your body can not recognize these ingredients, these chemicals wreak havoc, causing hair loss weakened immune system that can cause viruses, colds and even fungal infections.
_
Second picture contains the list of harmful shampoos.

Flaxseed tea -
Flaxseeds are a great source of dietary fiber. Dietary fiber is classified into two categories- soluble and insoluble. The soluble fiber produces a gel-like substance which when encounters the digestive juices and water, slows down the food absorption in your colon and in turn, makes you feel fuller for a longer time. The insoluble fiber helps in promoting the good gut bacteria which aids digestive health and increases your metabolic rate.
Directions-
Steep the ground flax seed and cinnamon in hot water for 3-4 minutes and strain/filter it.
Drink warm. You may add honey if you wish but it tastes better without it.
