Sometimes it takes a village
I’ve been working with @kamanienaltowska all week, and yesterday we were really focusing on getting her into her hips. She’s got really flexible hips AND strong glutes, but was having a hard time connecting things and getting into her hips in her backbends. So here is one of many things we did together, and after, she was able to get much deeper into her hips in her bridge

If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably know that I don’t really do what you would call “passive stretching”. No matter what I always want something to be engaged- whether it’s to help get deeper in a position, or just to stabilize the stretch. This exercise is one of the few where I will actually say to relax, but even then, I still give active cues and focus on the intention. This was taken last week when @kamanienaltowska was visiting and we were focusing on things she can do for her upper back on her own. Great work, Kama!
