It’s not mind-blowing, by any means, but it’s a very fresh and pleasant smelling fragrance that’s really easy to wear. The performance is moderate, it’s probably best for a younger crowd, and it works best as a casual daytime fragrance. Although it’s marketed for men, I think a woman can totally pull it off. ☺️ 8.0 ZARA is exactly what you’d expect...it’s clean, inviting, and a solid choice for the warmer weather; especially for teens and those relaxed about fragrances. . The newest release from the house Spirit of Dubai and since I am a fan I had to do a blind buy going with very little information. The opening is very fruity and sweet but not the kind I jive with. It’s not a juicy fruity it’s more a candied fruit and comes over extremely sweet on my skin almost headache inducing. Shows some similarities to Fakhama with a more toned down rose with a Smokey accord and a touch of powder in the dry down to my nose. Definitely not even close to a top 5 favorite from this house for me unfortunately. Would be hard pressed to even keep it in the top 10. This is a fresh masculine scent that’s Aromatic and fresh with fougere like tendencies. The Patchouli is there and is more of the clean variety then dirty. Performance is very good. SCENTS OF THE WEEK . SUNDAY (05/19/19): Dunhill Icon. @alfreddunhill My mother came out for a surprise visit. I haven’t seen my kids happy like that in a long time. We had a very nice visit together, and this amazing fragrance had me smelling fantastic. . MONDAY (05/20/19): Lalique White. @lalique I had been wanting to wear this one for a while now, and I’m sure glad I did. It’s such a beautifully clean and woody smelling fragrance. Subtle and refined...I just smelled great! . TUESDAY (05/21/19): Tea for Two. @lartisanparfumeur This was a very special day. I’m so happy that I finally got to meet Ryan @scentwise. We had a blast together! We smelled a bunch of my fragrances; then, we drove out to meet with Joe @dorperfumes. We all had dinner together and smelled a lot of incredible niche fragrances. We even smoked cigars and had a drink together. A night I’ll never forget! . WEDNESDAY (05/22/19): Tea for Two. @lartisanparfumeur I was so busy preparing for Ryan’s visit on Tuesday, I never got around to posting my review of this fragrance; so, I wore it again and did my review on Wednesday instead. It was such a blessing to wear this fragrance two days in a row. . THURSDAY (05/23/19): Radiant Bergamot. @ferrari This is a really fun and fresh smelling fragrance; it’s also my final addition to this amazing collection. This is a bright, sparkling and soapy smelling scent; which eventually reveals a spicy and unique earthy character. . FRIDAY (05/24/19): Jacques Fath Pour L’Homme. @jacquesfathparfums This is such an awesome fragrance, and it gets better each time I wear it. It’s so smooth, rich, and complex. A remarkable, underrated gem; also, one of the best blind-buys I’ve ever purchased. . SATURDAY (05/25/19): Bvlgari Man. @bulgariparfums This is a very special fragrance in my collection, as it’s one that I started wearing when I first started dating my girlfriend; before beginning my fragrance journey.
