You can’t complain unless you are going to do something about it. . Lemme be real with you for a second. . I am not a proponent of complaining. If you are going to complain, there better be a plan backing it up to fix whatever it is you’re complaining about. . Whining about your situation puts you in the position to play victim to your circumstances. . You are not your situation and you are not what’s happened to you. . You have an opportunity to grow from negative experiences and adversity. . I am not talking about situations that are out of your control but I am saying that within every situation you have the power to control yourself. . For example, if you did poorly on a test and complained about it, I would expect you to follow that complaint with a solution such as talking to your professor/going to office hours, studying smarter, etc… . If you are not going to do anything about it, don’t complain because not only does it make others not want to be around you, you put yourself in a negative headspace. Negative thoughts not only affect how you view the world but affect your behavior which results in your creating a self fulfilling prophecy which then reinforces your initial complaint. . If you can’t seem to stop binging and having anxiety attacks (aka, ME) and nothing has worked thus far. Do something you haven’t yet! Usually it’s the thing you resist the most. . YOU ARE NOT as stuck as you think you are. . Try therapy/support in facing your emotions, try not dieting, try letting go of the need to lose weight. Allow yourself unconditional permission to eat. . Lift the restrictions from yourself. Lift the burden of never feeling good enough or small enough. . Not easy things to do by any means but when you let go of the apparent control you think you have over food and stop trying to diet and lose weight things change. . *You* have the power to change your situation or at least how you behave in a situation. . You have the ability to change your life. . Not all at once and maybe it’ll happen slowly but you have that power. . So please, go ahead and complain… just remember to follow it with a solution.

Currently taking some days off of the gym because my body couldn’t keep up with my inner power and drive. I did a “mini cut” on vacation ‍♀️ - What do I mean by “mini cut”?- so basically I decided to cut a bit of the fat and glycogen I had hold onto for the past months. This is not a major fat loss phase or massive restriction, THIS is me- cutting out 1-2 kilos because I didn’t feel at my most comfortable state in terms of my body. - What I did is basically keep my calories the same and increase my TDEE(Total Daily Energy Expenditure) sooo I started hitting my 10,000 steps every day, training every other day as per usual(3-4 times a week) and adding cardio 2 per week. Soo the biggest thing that I did is actually hit my 10,000 steps and that’s what made the difference. - NOW I also did that on vacation I know crazy, but I did the best that I could: Did home circuit workouts every other day - Hit my steps and sometimes more - Ate smaller meals every 2-3 hours - Tracked my macros as much as I could- it’s very difficult to do that when eating out but you can guess-timate (guess+estimate)Ordered big salads and a source of lean protein(usually seafood) and everything else on the table was tempting but if you have a goal, YOU STICK TO IT! Not at all saying you should do that on vacation but I genuinely wanted to do a mini cut which started a few days before that and stick to it...so I did. Again, you do you, boo
