For laughs- I saw this on @thenigerianfoodchannel page and asked permission to repost. Really Nigerian food is made up mainly of carbohydrates. But you can’t blame us. How is a father of 5 going to feed his children ‘mainly’ with protein and vegetables on a meager salary? So one N250 cup of Garri to the rescue , ‘soup water’ and maybe ‘a picture of meat’ (that they couldn’t afford to buy) to go with it. At least the kids know that there was meat at the table for their one square meal... And everyone is full and bursting out their seams. And they don’t gain weight because right after it , there’s no cable Tv , they just run around chasing chickens or rolling tyres. #fitfam . . I started Teda Designs 8yrs ago after resigning from KPMG to start my entrepreneurial journey into fashion... It wasn't easy because along the road I felt stuck, I was either held hostage by my tailors or whatever trend was in at the moment. I needed freedom to express my own form of art, my vision without boundaries . . So I took the bull by the horn, I registered and invested all my earnings from a thrift at the time, went to London college of fashion to learn the science of designing. That was a life turning experience.
