Что ты слышал про финскую сауну?🧖🏻‍♂️🧖🏻‍♀️ ⠀ Сауна для финнов не просто место, где можно помыться, но и приют для души, национальная философия и лекарство от всех болезней. Они относятся к ней, почти как к живому человеку и лично видела как они быстрее туда бегут размахивая веником😁. При простуде или ином небольшом недомогании финны первым делом отправляют в сауну. И, конечно же, финны уверены, что право ходить в сауну для каждого так же свято, как право жить и дышать. Недаром у них в каждом доме она есть! ⠀ Итак, встречайте Первая в мире сауна на колесе обозрения. Во дают!🤪 Кабинка называется SkySauna, в ней могут разместиться 4-5 человек. И это, наверное, самый жаркий способ наслаждаться видами Хельсинки😁. Аренда стоит 240 € в час, + 120 € за каждый последующий. Для групп более 4 человек, действует дополнительная плата - 30 €/чел. Но тогда включены напитки. Внизу есть ещё открытый бассейн/джакузи и даже ⠀ Есть еще одна спецкабинка - VIP Veuve Clicquot. Внутри кожаные кресла, стекла затемнены😏. Аренда стоит 145 €. В цену входит бутылка знаменитого шампанского "Veuve Clicquot". This richly decorated and symmetrical facade located next to St. John’s Church is one of my favorites in the area. The symmetrical placement of the bastions / bay windows on both sides of the facade combined with beautiful decorative stoneworks are a true pleasure to the eye! 😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Trivia: Bertel Jung and Oscar Bomansson also designed the building next to this in Johanneksentie 6 and it was built after this one! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #helsinkifacades | #instawalkjugend | #HFullanlinna

Cherry pop! 🌸🌿 Spring is long gone and summer is here! Currently it's around 30c in Helsinki! Here is an aerial view of the cherry tree park and the water tower in Roihuvuori I took in May! The water tower was built in 1977 and the design is by architect Simo Lumme who's design "Vesirousku" won the organized architecture competition! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Did you know that the top part of the water tower was built in the ground and then lifted to the top by massive hydraulic pumps and lifting system. The top concrete part weights around 9000 tons and it took about 60 hrs to lift it to its place! 😎👌 #myhelsinki #ourfinland

Moomin’s are a big part of Finland’s heritage and families have big collections of Moomin mugs at home too! ••••• Tove Jansson, the original “Moomin Mama” created the Moomins in the 1940s. They became world famous when the London Evening News published them as a comic strip and they’ve been popular ever since. I’m a 90s kid, so I used to watch the cartoons. My fave character was the sassy Little My haha 🤪💁🏻‍♀️ ••••• In Helsinki you can have your favourite Moomin Character join you for tea or cake at the Moomin Café ! Everything has Moomin’s on it even the plates, cups, cakes and coffee decorations 😱 it was a dream come true! One of the pioneering architects of the early Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style in Finland at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, he continued to influence generations of students by introducing them to the style. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Many of his key architectural works were made while he was in the architectural partnership Usko Nyström-Petrelius-Penttilä which operated from 1895 to 1908.
