Wedddding tip!!- be yourselfff and personalize your day. I know it sounds cliche but I remember planning our day and there’s certain traditions and elements that we felt some pressure to include!! We took out the pieces that didn’t feel like us, and added in some elements that were special. Get creative and personalize the heck out of it!!! . . . . Annnnd be open to ideas!! We had our wedding at a ranch on the North Shore and wanted it to feel like an old backyard farm fair Andrew had the fun idea for our favors- to set up a “country store”, where each guests got a ticket and then got to go redeem their ticket at the little shop-some things they could choose from were homemade beeswax lip balm and honey sticks, a vegetable garden in a bag, lavender soap, or a whole pineapple (thanks Dole Plantation!) TBH, I wasn’t sure if it would work, but it turned out being really fun, and gave the guests something to do during cocktail hour!! So, trust your person! . . . . Do you want a mountaintop ceremony? An underwater vow exchange? Even something simple, like incorporating Taco Bell hot sauce (my faaaave ) at your reception. Do ittttt, my friend!!! It’ll make your day that much more special!!!
