Our summer days so far have been spent riding bikes! We ride to the park to play and read, race down the street, ride to dinner, ride to friends houses and more! Watching Harps (who just last year was still learning and not a fan lol) soar down the sidewalk in front of me this morning got me thinking.... ☀️ Building a business is just like riding a bike! First you start off with training wheels. Then the day comes where you want them off. You practice, fall, skin your knees (Harps not so favorite part), get bumps and bruises but your young and fearless so you keep getting back on and trying again! Finally, you do it! You take off riding! Next thing you know your riding up hills, with no hands and racing friends too! That's exactly what owning a business is like! And just like learning to ride that bike... and here’s what you have to understand..:: everyone has a different story on who taught them, how long it took, and just how good they got with a lot of practice! ✨ When we are young we are fearless! We don't quite realize that there is such thing as failure! So we keep getting back up. We aren't thinking about how silly we look or if anyone is watching! We could care less! We just know what our end goal is and we don't stop until we get there! So what happened? Why can't we just jump right into our business and not be scared? Why can't we see the end result we seek and make it happen? Why do we hit a bump, get a bruise and just throw in the towel so easily? After all, or entire childhood was one failure after another until we reached success! From crawling to walking, from reading to writing, even to learning to drive a car! They say that 95% of becoming successful is mental! I'd say if we analyze our life that's 100% true! So now we need to get our mind right, friend! Get back to knowing we will succeed and accepting we will fail many times before doing so. You fail and fail until you get it right but if you do it enough times you WILL GET IT RIGHT! When I launched my business in 2014, I knew that it had to work. I was willing to fail, look silly, and try try again! I saw the vision board and goals in my head and knew that it would happen! N

I wish I could freeze time. Both girls are at such sweet and fun ages, and I never want it to end. I get so used to being with them 24/7, that I don’t always realize they are growing and changing right before my eyes. If you’re a mama, take a second today to just stop and stare at them.
