This week’s window display - what’s your favourite piece? Mine is probably the chair to be honest which isn’t to say I don’t like any of the clothes, I just really like this chair! I’ve found a lot of good stuff on the side of the road in my time but that chair is probably my favourite roadside treasure find. I walk my dog twice a day so I spend lots of time wandering the streets, and yes I do usually carry stuff home straight away so if you’ve ever seen a girl with a random piece of furniture in one hand and a dog leash in the other, that’s me! ‍♀️

We’ve rebranded! Allow us to reintroduce ourselves: Shop Berriez. In the beginning of May, we received a cease and desist letter from Fruit of the Loom. Upon receipt of the letter, we agreed to drop ‘Looms’ if we could continue to use the word ‘Fruity.’ When Fruit of the Loom responded negatively to our request, we knew we would have to let go of our beloved name, Fruity Looms. After weeks of brainstorming and wanting to stay true to our fruity, quirky brand (but without being able to use the word ‘fruit’) we decided on Berriez, spelled with a ‘z’ to reflect the initials of our founder, Emma Zack. Berriez will continue to curate vintage in larger sizes. We thank you so berry much for your support. XX

Let me tell you I was BUSY last week. On my chemo off weeks I tend to jam pack my days so I can make the most of my time off the couch. I tend not to share too much about myself on here. I guess I do not wish to be labelled “the girl with cancer”. But to be honest, that’s what I am lol. Obviously I am a lot more than just my disease, but it is a major part of my life. I never thought at 27 I would be told I have stage 4 cancer, but then again - who can ever plan for that? You can’t. Nothing in life is for certain so why not enjoy every aspect of it! It’s been over 5 years now and I am still alive and kicking, some days more than others. What gets me up off the couch and makes me happy is treasure hunting. That is why I am always so happy when anyone on here actually loves an item as much as I do! It really brings me so much joy.
