This was a quite difficult project to pull off. I actually learned a bunch of stuff that will make it much easier next time. First. Choose bottle in the store wisely to save time on retouch. Second. Plan your shoot to avoid mistakes and retakes. Especially when you’re using liquid. Once it’s there, you can’t really wipe it off without losing too much time. Third. The retouch will and must take time. I finished it off quite fast and still see a number of improvements to be made. Since I didn’t do this for a client I’m ok with that. It took me approximately 2 hours to set up and shoot and around 2,5 hours to retouch and finish this post. Swipe ⬅️ for some advice on bottle preparations, lighting setup and a short clip.
