Good Morning Kingdom! Okay Ok while I was away I got a few... (no A LOT) of DMs about @offspringhq new policy of wearing a previous release to pick up a new release at their stores... So yesterday I saw them spoke to them directly and asked what was going on As people were so upset? They replied that firstly every Offspring raffle is completely optional you are not forced to take part. Secondly in regards to wearing a shoe for the pick up it is only an additional requirement but if it’s raining on the day or you haven’t worn them yet or something like that you can show them in bag that you still have the shoe and haven’t resold it . This idea is because unfortunately a lot of people in the #OffspringHQCommunity have become extra salty and have been complaining that other people are reselling etc so it’s just to combat it as it has to be a blanket rule for all not one rule for one and another rule for others. Alternatively they can stop this whole community thing and just put everything online ‍♂️ or use an online system for the Raffles as it saves them money and stress... So guys please give your constructive feedback below as to what the best way to handle this is because it seems to me that everyone wants to have their way but it’s hard to please 200K+ people? My personal opinion is everyone needs to really sit down and think to themselves.. If im not happy I am not participating, it’s like anything if you unhappy leave the situation unfollow and keep it moving. And I’m not just saying that but we gotta be honest with ourselves Offspring is a retailer there are plenty more retailers... I’ve also heard that people think Offspring is trying to run the scene or culture ‍♂️, trust me that is not what they are trying to do at all. Because let’s be honest 2-3 years ago everyone complaining didn’t care what Offspring did so why do you care so much now?
