So use this to your advantage - (2) Try drinking a glass of water every time you start to feel hungry. This can be a simple strategy to fill your stomach a bit while ingesting 0 calories. Plus most people don't hydrate enough! - (3) Having 1 salad with protein per day will most likely lower your carb intake and thus your total caloric intake. Not to say that carbs are bad, but it’s just another easy way to eat less calories during the day! - (4) Having protein snacks on hand instead of highly palatable (carb and fat) snacks will help you a lot, especially with satiety and your overall daily protein intake. Also, if you normally eat a snickers bar as a snack and switch to protein bar or shake, you’ll probably see a significant calorie reduction too - (5) Caffeine is a hunger suppressant (you probably already know this) but use it to your advantage - (6) Keeping your meals simple is a HUGE one. Something everyone wants... ⠀ Every single person starting a new fitness plan has a physical or measurable goal they’re wanting to achieve. ⠀ It’s usually something around wanting to lose “x” number of pounds, lose “x” number of inches, fit into “x” size jeans... ⠀ And I'm not saying that's bad. ⠀ There ain’t nothin’ wrong with having physically measurable goals ⠀ The problem comes when you put ALL of your expectation and motivation into achieving those things… ⠀ Here’s why —> physical results are volatile. ⠀ And no matter how "perfect" your plan is, you’ll never have complete control over how quickly (or slowly) your body decides to change. ⠀ Unrealistic expectations are what ultimately fail most people.
