Someone told me recently, “Be kind to yourself. Your daughters’ self image isn’t based on how you treat them but how you treat YOU” and it really resonated with me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Too often I hear women complaining that they are bloated, 10lbs too heavy, their stomach isn’t flat enough, their thighs are too big, etc. It is honestly so exhausting and I find it hard to be around. Now that I have two daughters I realize how toxic that thinking is and I see how important it is to be kind to yourself. I want my girls to grow up knowing their worth isn't measured by other people, nor is it negotiable.
