This is my late grandmas ring- I have been wearing it every day since she passed away twelve years ago. . A lot of quite eerie coincidences have been happening lately and I like to think of them as positive signs for what is about to happen in my future. . This ring was one of those instances. When I returned from the UK with it after the funeral I went straight to a valuer to get it insured. He told me that the diamonds are so old and rare that I should get it reset- because if I lost one of those stones they wouldn’t be able to find a replacement. As a typical 23 year old I ignored this advice because I couldn’t afford it. . Then one day I was brushing my teeth and I noticed a gaping hole where one of the diamonds had fallen out. I cried and cried. I got to work that morning and told my boss what had happened (and cried some more). I put my elbow on the desk to start doing some work and I felt a prick. It was the tiny diamond. I have no idea how that happened. At work we had a cleaning team who vacuumed and dusted every night. My work was a half an hour drive away. How did that tiny diamond find it’s way back to me? . So you can see why this is an extraordinary ring to me. I have since looked at it and I think it quite resembles a kite don’t you think? X

Yesterday we went on a train. The child was living his best life...I was pretty stressed, riddled with anxiety and sure we would end up somewhere completely random • On a side note I have a new found respect for anyone who uses public transport on a regular basis with small children. You must either be more organised than the cupboard under the sink at @mrshinchhome or constantly running late!! Regardless you’re clearly slaying life!!
