You sweat a little more - you work a little harder - and it becomes a game changer! First #bumpie to celebrate my 2nd trimester!⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Whew these past 13 weeks have been crazy. We found out we were while being furloughed, Danny traveled for work A LOT, I obtained my healthy goal weight for the first time ever, the 1st trimester symptoms kicked in , the baby decided it hated veggies but loved carbs, I gave up caffeine, I weaned Emma , more hormones followed, I helped four of my challengers through a 6 week weight loss competition, two of them placed in the top 10 and one of them took home the 1st place prize of close to $800, I finished my own 6 week workout program and we started potty training Emma!⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ While the past few months have been quite the roller coaster I’m proud to say the one thing that never wavered was my commitment to working out 4-5 times a week. I had thought of every excuse in the book to not work out but knew I had a group of ladies counting on me for their own accountability and knew I would regret it if I let my excuses win. And guess what, those 20-30 min during those workouts were the best I would feel most days! #endorphins ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Before I got pregnant with Emma I was a gym rat. The second the first pregnancy symptom kicked in I completely stopped exercising. It would take me almost 3 yrs to finally get my butt in gear and find a new exercise routine that worked for my new #momlife. I vowed to NEVER let that happen again b/c I am so much happier being healthy and strong.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I’m excited knowing I now have the tools to stay active and healthy this entire pregnancy and after. I'm excited to have over 700 workouts at my fingertips that I can change up daily if/when needed. I’m excited to have finally found a nutrition plan that actually works with my lifestyle. And I'm really excited to have a delicious superfoods shake that not only replaces my prenatal vitamin but is also equivalent to about 5 salads which is of extra importance those days I can't stomach veggies. ⁣⁣⁣ If you're looking to start your own fitness journey, change up your current routine or need help staying accountable I’m here to help. Somedays it’s hard for me to grasp that my daughter will one day be able to see her mama’s legacy through little squares on Instagram... especially when I share the things I am NOT proud of. Like when I used to spend many nights sobbing next to the bathroom mirror, hating what I saw while my newborn slept in his crib. ⠀ It’s not a “gram-worthy message” but it’s part of my story, and I think a lot of mamas can relate.
