Major progress made over the last couple of days which is great because this needs to be finished tonight! . . The zip is in and I have the back seam allowance to finish as well as level off and hem the skirt. Even though the process has been RUSHED (to say the least) I am still rather happy with how it’s turning out. My only regret is cutting the skirt and bodice back on a double layer of fabric. Even though it was such a time saver, I really regret not taking the time to match the floral pattern on the fabric. No, c’est la vie! ‍♀️ . . Swipe right to see the Hong Kong seam finish! I couldn’t bare to sew any more winter clothes, so I made some high-waisted gingham pants! Then! I had a some leftover fabric and made a matching top! The pants are #nl6544 , which I had to adjust quite a bit to get them just right. They were about two sizes too big. I also added 2” to the rise to make them this high-waisted and I added pockets, because what’s the point of pants without pockets?! The top is a very cropped version of the #romytop by @tessutifabrics . I’m really happy with the outcome. I feel so much better...now back to sewing sweaters
