حسگر اثر انگشت نوکیا ۹ با یک بسته آدامس فریب می‌خورد.
بعد از انتشار آپدیتی برای بهبود عملکرد حسگر اثر انگشت زیر نمایشگر نوکیا ۹ ، برخی از کاربران پست‌هایی در مورد مشکلات مربوط به این مشخصه منتشر کرده‌اند. تعداد زیادی از این گوشی‌ها، با هر اثر انگشتی باز می‌شوند و حداقل در یکی از این موارد، حتی قرار دادن بسته‌ی آدامس هم می‌تواند حسگر اثر انگشت موردنظر را فریب بدهد.
شرکت HMD این آپدیت را برای بهبود عملکرد حسگر اثر انگشت نوکیا ۹ منتشر کرده ولی ظاهرا دقت آن را تا حد زیادی کاهش داده است. روی هم رفته، حسگر اثر انگشت مانند سیستم تشخیص چهره کاملا بی‌نقص نیست و با بهره‌گیری از مثلا پرینت سه‌بعدی اثر انگشت معمولا می‌توان تعداد زیادی از آن‌ها را فریب داد. اما نکته‌ی قابل توجه در مورد این مشکل این است که حتی با استفاده از اشیاء دیگر هم حسگر اثر انگشت نوکیا ۹ فریب می‌خورد
حسگر اثر انگشت این گوشی از همان ابتدا مشکل‌زا بود و در این زمینه گزارش‌های زیادی منتشر شده است. در برخی از نقد و بررسی‌ها آمده که حسگر اثر انگشت زیر نمایشگر نوکیا ۹ یکی از بدترین نمونه‌های موجود محسوب می‌شود و بسیاری از کاربران برای ورود به این گوشی به ناچار باید چند بار تلاش کنند.

Is five cameras on a phone too many? The Nokia 9 is HMD Global’s new flagship at MWC 2019, and it might be the company’s most ambitious phone yet. With a show-stopping five — count ‘em, five — cameras on the back, this phone officially takes the crown for the most rear cameras ever put on a phone. Unlike other multi-camera phones, like the LG V40 or Samsung’s newly announced Galaxy S10, the Nokia 9 PureView uses the same key specs for all five cameras: each one has a 12 megapixel sensor and an f/1.8 lens. But only two of those five cameras shoot in color — the other three are monochrome. Whenever you press the shutter, all five cameras shoot different exposures at the same time, which then get merged together into a single, ultra-detailed shot.
