Also be cautious of getting caught up with the flare of any excessive no matter how it is (like this one )➖ I love mastering my movements, particularly the hinge in all speeds and transitions. 99% of people I work with won’t do this and I’d love to hear your feedback on when, why, and who you would do this with..❓

As I’ve discussed in previous posts I’m a big fan of training the “anti-abs.” Meaning, training the abs/core to resist movement in the form of anti-rotation, anti-extension, and anti-lateral flexion.
I’ve covered several anti-extension and anti-rotation exercises but I’ve done very little on the anti-lateral flexion front.
Single Arm Carries are great but they can be time consuming and get boring rather quickly. My favorite way to work on lateral flexion resistance is to simply add a single arm hold to accessory movements like the Lunge or Bulgarian Split Squat in the video.
I’ve found it a great way to kill two birds with one stone ✅
Just look at the action on the semiauto. It hadn’t been cleaned in about 2 months and many rounds had gone through it. Time to give it a good clean, you can see how it is struggling to close back
