Com músicas de Vinícius de Moraes, Tom Jobim e Elizeth Cardoso, o filme retrata o Rio de Janeiro dos anos 50 e é interessante observar a evolução dos morros cariocas. Y a mi juego me llamó porque ay, siempre me gustaron las cosas raras, las que andan por el borde, las que sobresalen un cachito (o mucho) de la multitud. Abrazo las rarezas. Las atesoro. “Una rosa en la trompa de un elefante”, de @editorial.limonero, tiene textos profundos y rimados, bellos como sólo la poesía puede bella, de António José Forte (hay que ver lo prolífico que es Portugal en cuanto a autores e ilustradores gloriosos) e ilustraciones igualmente bellas y profundas de Mariana Malhaõ. Hay rimas, decía, porque sí. Hay cuentos cantados que empiezan, ruedan y terminan. Hay eso, música en el texto. Es un libro sonoro y cantarín. Recita y cuenta. Y es que la rima es mágica: abre asociaciones como quien abre ventanas para sacudir las migas de los manteles. Los chicos juegan con la poesía. Con las historias. Siguen con el dedo los trazos coloridos, caprichosos, hermosos de los dibujos. Me gusta decirle dibujos a las ilustraciones. Es un libro raro, un estanque de agua con gusto a frutas, a chiste, a pausa. Es un libro raro, tan hermosamente raro que qué tristeza para nuestra biblioteca si no lo tuviéramos a mano. Barontini, known for his work on creolization & his spectacular #AfroFuturistic compositions often combined w sound & site-specific installations, will be showing an unseen body of sculptural paintings occupying the center of his exhibition. The artist is deeply interested in Edouard Glissant’s vision of creolisation. He refers to this phenomenon as a “poetics of relation.” He also replaces the notion of globalisation (mondialisation) – based, far too exclusively on economic precepts – w the notion of globality (mondialité), in which he sees possibilities for a positive collective narrative & cultural civility. His Solar Cloaks are imaginary cloaks re-investing the royal costume as a tool of empowerment.
