Climate change is real and it's no joke Climate change is a natural phenomenon. The Earth has gone through several climate changes in its history but never at the rate it's going now. Human activity is accelerating the process to something that has never been documented before. Since the industrial age the quality of life for humans has improved significantly but at the same time we have lost all connection and respect for nature and other life on Earth. ▪️ Climate change is not something that can be denied or ignored. There is a clear correlation between global warming and the burning of fossil fuels. Glaciers are retreating at an alarming rate. Extreme weather is becoming increasingly common. Life on Earth as we know it is going to change for the worse unless we change first. We still have time to reduce our impact on the climate and ensure a future on this planet for generations to come. We must all take responsibility for our actions and make a change. You might think that one person can't do much but 7,5 billion people can do a lot! I was inspired by a timelapse video of a retreating glacier in my own country, Iceland. The overall retreat of glaciers annually in Iceland is around 40 square kilometers.
