So my brother had an outpatient surgery and was having a hard time in the recovery room. He was handed this little pod. They told him to open it and sniff it. Guess what it was? A sort of inhaler with essential oils in it! It was a mix of peppermint, lavender, spearmint and ginger. . You guys, a hospital gave my brother essential oils to relieve his post surgery symptoms. I have to say I’m a little shocked. I hope they used dōTERRA oils but ‍♀️; it’s still a win and nice to be validated. They obviously see the value in essential oils and their supplemental use in modern medicine. It’s taken me two whole years but I think I just found my perfect combo for head tension!⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ The simpler remedies like peppermint on temples or frankincense on the roof of mouth that work for most people just never cut it for me and nothing I tried would stop me grabbing pain killers. However! I never gave up trying different things and now here we are!⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ If you’re in the same boat, try this ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ Step 1. Flip Frankincense over on your thumb and press to the roof of your mouth for 30sec. Repeat with Peppermint.⁣⠀ Step 2. Lavender Touch roller over temples and along hairline followed by Copaiba and Manuka. (You can use straight lavender here but I like the roller so it gives a coconut oil base for the next two oils).⁣⠀ Step 3. Peppermint Touch roller all over the back of your neck, up towards occipital region of head, and tops of shoulders. I tend to hold a lot of tension in this area so for me it helps calm the muscles and stops me freaking out that I’m in pain! ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ Have you tried this protocol?
