Black Sesame & Coconut Soft Serve Ice Cream with Choc Magic & Salted Almonds Recipe below!⁣ ⁣ The chocolate sauce becomes solid when poured on top of the ice cream, that’s the Choc Magic✨⁣ ⁣ To achieve a slightly deeper color of the ice cream, I used a pinch of activated charcoal powder from @rawnice ⁣ ⁣ RECIPE (2 servings)⁣ Ice Cream:⁣ 50 g toasted black sesame seeds⁣ 3 tbsp agave syrup⁣ 1 can (400 ml / 14 oz) unsweetened coconut cream ⁣ 1 tsp vanilla extract⁣ pinch of sea salt⁣ 1/2 tsp activated charcoal powder @rawnice ⁣ Chocolate Sauce (melt and stir together):⁣ 100 g vegan dark chocolate⁣ 1 tbsp coconut oil⁣ ⁣ Topping:⁣ Roasted lightly salted almonds, roughly chopped⁣ ⁣ METHOD:⁣ - Process sesame seeds in high-speed blender, then add the agave syrup and activated charcoal. Mix until you have a thick paste, add the remaining ingredients and mix until you have a smooth mixture.⁣ - Pour the mixture into a freeze safe container, cover and place in the freezer. Stir every 20 minutes until you have a soft serve texture (at least 2 hours depending on freezer). ⁣ - Place ice cream in a piping bag and pipe in ice cream cones or cups. INGREDIENTS 6 medium tomatoes, quartered 1 medium yellow onion, chopped 6 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed 2 tablespoons olive oil 1/4 teaspoon salt (or more to taste) pepper, to taste 6–8 servings of pasta (we used Whole Foods Organic Ziti) 1 cup soaked cashews* Fresh basil, chopped, to taste . INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 400ºF and like a baking sheet with tin foil. Place tomatoes, onions, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper onto baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Toss, making sure everything is coated. Roast at 400ºF 20 minutes. While vegetables are roasting, bring a pot of water to a boil. When water comes to a boil, add pasta to the water. Stir occasionally and remove when pasta is al dente. About 6-8 minutes. Strain pasta and set aside. Remove baking sheet from oven, remove skin from tomatoes, and roast for an additional 10 minutes. Next, transfer all ingredients on the baking sheet (including juices) into a blender along with soaked cashews and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust salt as needed. Toss pasta with sauce and top with fresh basil and cracked pepper.
