I’m back in the kitchen cooking up some sequences again. I hate sissy squats and I hate wheel so why not put the two together and endure them both in one go It is so important that you practice the skills you don’t like, because normally they are the ones you aren’t so good at, so they’ll need a little extra work despite what your ego might think. Back bends and heart openers are something I have always had to work really hard on. There is a common misconception that I have a very bendy back when in reality I have a lordosis in my lower back, two very different things. The vertebrae in my lumbar spine are formed with an excessive curve. My thoracic and upper back mobility on the other hand is bloody shocking. Back in the dance and gymnastics days I would use and abuse my lordosis for all those back bending gains and subsequently I was forever having lower back pain...go figure. As a result, I have now become incredibly aware of it and I’m forever banging on about having a neutral pelvis in class and not bending from your lower back. It is so important that we learn to be intuitive in our practice. Don’t just slam yourself through a yoga class without any thought, listen to your body. Don’t accept every cue your teacher gives you, explore it, see if it works for you and if it doesn’t don’t do it. That’s ok. We all have different bodies and therefore we will need different practices. At the end of the day you are your own yoga teacher. I cannot feel what is happening inside your body, only you can. So start paying attention to it. Be curious, seek to learn more and start consciously taking your yoga practice into your own hands Side note: I could not stop giggling at the end because I messed up the valdez every single time because I was so scared of slamming my foot into the fridge. Да-да, я тоже нахомячила лишние 1.5 кг за праздникиВ таких случаях меня выручает такое вот интенсивное занятие йогой, способствующее похудению. Ясное дело, не одно, а 5-6 дней в неделю по 20-30 мин.(Видео ускорено х5).

Не забудьте сделать комплекс на обе стороны и придерживаться своего уровня подготовки (не делайте балансы на руках, если вы не знакомы с ними. Замените их дополнительной планкой).
И, пожалуйста, не надо себя жалеть! Не бойтесь попотеть себе как следует!

Today I feel like posting a reminder that you don’t need to live your life in the black & white. You don’t need to be an ethical vegan, you don’t need to be a thin yogi, you don’t need to be a “hustle hard, no days off” grinder, you don’t need to drink celery juice every day to be healthy, you don’t need to love meditation, you don’t need to do intermittent fasting, you don’t need to do anything that doesn’t resonate with you, period. You can have a beautiful flexible life, where you do what makes you happy and you decide on each day what that is for you! It can & will change, because that is the nature of our lives. What that looks like is different for each & every one of us. I’m telling you the freedom of life is found living in the gray area. I’m trying every day to show up there.
