Hi my 2 little embryo babies! Grow big & strong, ok? . I can’t stop looking at this ultrasound picture. We didn’t get one last transfer and I’m SO happy we asked for one this time. After all the things we’ve been through, it’s really nice to feel like we have a little glimpse of our babies to hold in our hands (even if all they are right now is somewhere within a teeny spot of fluid! ) All I can think about is how incredible God has been to us, completely paving the way for us to get here step by step. I’m in a weird halfway state between the facts and success rates of IVF and infertility and the truth of God’s promises. To say the doubts aren’t talking would be a total lie, but do I believe them? Nope. Have you ever had a moment where you just outright chose sin instead of following the spirit? Have you known without a doubt that the path you're on is leading you further away from Christ, but you just try to ignore it and keep going anyway? Or has there been a situation where choosing to follow Jesus been too confronting or scary for you, so you look the other way? I know I've been there, and they'll probably be more moments like these in my future because of one thing... sin. Sometimes as Christians, we can forget just how far our sin runs inside us and how it has manipulated and destroyed the world we live in. But if we make the conscious and deliberate decision to ignore God, does that mean He will turn His back on us? HECK NO! We are God's creation, He knows us inside out. Therefore, He knows our SIN inside out. He knows we are selfish, He knows the desires of our flesh, He knows we WILL (not maybe)fall into temptation. He knows that time after time, we will choose to follow the wrong things and turn away from Him. He knows we suck, He knows we aren't perfect and that we never will be. So, He decided to SAVE us. He sent Jesus to live and to die so that we can have a relationship with Him. He sent Jesus so that we can live a life where we are freed from our sin and our shame. He sent Jesus so we could KNOW and SEE unconditional love and experience REAL grace. When we sin, we don't have to dwell in the fear and shame. At the cross, those sins were forgiven. At the cross, God's grace has covered you. At the cross, God's love won. If you've messed up, if you've been ignoring God or if you've been consumed by your own desires. Take a moment and repent. Give it over to God and openly receive the grace God has fought to give you. Today choose grace. Choose to walk in freedom. Choose victory✨
